The Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is hosted by Wishful Endings! Well, another Sunday and this week was pretty slow, but I did find my LFL, here and so I got a few good books!!  And I just started reading Stumble Into Him, it is so funny. I am at 12%  and I love it already!! I did a few challenges on Instagram & hosted my first giveaway on there. I got 1 arc coming in the mail & 2 emerge coming this week! That's all for me this week!! How was your week?

First Lines Friday!

First Lines Friday is hosted by Reading is My Superpower!! I thought I would join in this week!! This gorgeous book I got free on my Kindle!! First lines: “Watch out!” Holly Flanagan heard a commotion coming from the other side of the park. Figuring it was best to ignore the shouting, she bent over to focus on picking up her Corgi—Lord Waffles’s—most recent deposit. Although, with Holly’s track record, she should’ve known anyone yelling “watch out,” “take cover,” or “that’s about to fall” was directed at her. Even after years of being the unofficial spokesperson for unlucky, klutzy, and clumsy, she still ignored the shouting as she carried on with her dog parent duties. Loving this book!! Happy Friday!😃

Can' t Wait Wednesday!!

Can't Wait Wednesday is hosted by Wishful Endings, where we share what books we are looking forward to!! Here are 2 of mine!! The first one comes out this week and the Christmas one comes out on 11/07!! What are you waiting for?

Book Review: One by One by Ruth Ware

Book Review:  One by One by Ruth Ware. A high tech group of young people decide to all vacation at a luxurious ski chalet in the French Alps. There are eight of them and each had a helping hand in their startup company. It becomes clear that the company may end up in financial ruin if they cannot come up with a better plan. These 8 co-workers decide to hold meetings at the chalet while enjoying the skiing, good food and friendship.  Ah, here is where the intrigue begins, as one of the leaders of the company, Eva goes missing. This causes an uproar and things get tense. So naturally they begin trying to solve that mystery when another worker ends up dead. What I liked most was how the suspense builds towards the end, how each character was developed and each had reasons for wanting the company to succeed, & finally how you didn't expect how it would end. What I didn't like: some of the characters I just thought were inane, not having enough personality. My rating. 4 stars!
